By introducing this type of events, i-platform will broaden and enrich its overall work and program of activities. Besides arranging regular Meetups, in the following months we will also organize Online Check-in events that have a different form and are created based on special and unique methodology.

A new series of events is founded by combining dialogue and Theory U, with the main goal being the establishment and formation of safe space in which all participants will be able to share their experiences and opinions about various questions and issues that are not easily solvable. In the focus of the participants’ interaction is neither a specialist and professional debate nor on-the-spot resolution of issues, but the exchange of personal experiences, histories, and life stories.   

Diaspora Kladanj Online Check-in will provide participants with the opportunity to practice how to connect with others and listen to what they need and have to say. Through interaction and dialogue, participants will be given a chance to connect with one another by means of empathy and understanding of how diverse human experiences can be. 

At each new organized gathering participants will be asked to focus on one particular issue, will share their personal stories through dialogue and analysis of their previously lived experiences, work together and in groups on solving the problems and exercises, learn how to be more patient, and team up with other participants and thus allow themselves to feel and comprehend other people’s experiences, interests, perspectives, and goals.
