Trauma and recovery in the context of Bosnia and Herzegovina: Still a pressing issue also for the next generation?

IAMANEH is organising together with their Bosnian partner organisation Vive Žene and in partnership with i-platform an evening discussion on the topic “Trauma and recovery in the context of Bosnia and Herzegovina: Still a pressing issue also for the next generation?”

Jasna Zečević, director of Vive Žene, a center for therapy and rehabilitation in Tuzla, will present their work since 1994 regarding the treatment and rehabilitation of victims of war trauma and domestic violence on individual, community and society level. In the panel discussion Minja Leko will share her research on the wellbeing, family functioning and resilience among Bosnians in Switzerland. Nenad Stojanović will make the link to the potential of the Bosnian diaspora to support civil society initiatives in BiH.
