A few days ago the i-diaspora, the Pangea network from Germany, and the Municipality of Kladanj organized the 13th “Kladanj Meetup” which again gathered an enviable number of representatives of the Kladanj diaspora.
In addition to the presentation of seven successfully implemented local projects, there was also a discussion about future planned activities. The participants of the project shared their positive experiences and impressions, and we are especially pleased that they responded and joined the whole initiative with new forces.
Those gathered could hear more about the final phase of the crowdfunding campaign, that is donations that ensured the installation of video surveillance in the kindergarten "Edina Čamdžić".
They also talked about the successes of the Cycling Club "Kladanj" at state competitions. The project of adaptation of the premises of the Association "Žena - ženi" Kladanj was also presented, and in addition our future cooperation was announced through which we will support the empowerment of women and their role in society through various educational workshops.
They will be discussed in more detail at the December meetup.
Successful local stories were also presented, such as that of Timka Salihović from Kladanj, a member of the Association "Žena - ženi" and an entrepreneur whose investment idea "Dunja" was accepted and included in the project "Empowerment of Women in Rural Areas in BiH" which is realized under the auspices of Green Council.
On this occasion, we would like to thank all the people of Kladanj around the world who in some way helped the implementation of initiatives and projects, contributed to the synergy of enterprising Kladanj and Kladanj Meetup participants, and started discussion that can motivate others to start similar projects.
USA and Canada Meetup
Also, on Saturday, November 6, the fourth "USA and Canada" meetup was held.
Among other things, the project "My Story" was presented at the meetup, which will enable the people of Kladanj to share their interesting stories through the written word.
At Saturday's meetup, therefore, the projects that were initiated and successfully implemented this year using our i-diaspora network were presented.
We are looking forward to new projects that we believe will bring positive results as before.
