Announcement of cooperation with Youth Employment Project (YEP)

Youth Employment Project (YEP) has been implemented since 2008 by the GOPA mbH, a German company, via its branch office in BiH with the support of the Swiss Government - Embassy of Switzerland. One of the key components of the project is a support to entrepreneurship, which implies concrete support for the establishment of enterprises and the creation of new jobs, including special support for business ventures in the domain of social entrepreneurship.

Youth Employment Project (YEP) in 2018 established YEP Business Ideas Incubator in 32 cities/municipalities in cooperation with local communities. 

Over 1.200 potential and existing entrepreneurs applied for the YEP Business Ideas Incubator with their business ideas, more than 600 business ideas were developed, and more than 300 business plans were developed and presented.  A total of 150 business plans was approved for financing, and by July 2019, more than 100 entrepreneurs received financial assistance, i.e., started or improved their business. 

The Youth Employment Project (YEP) within its support to launch or enhance business ventures through the Business Support Program / YEP Business Ideas Incubator ideas, besides financial, offers mentor support.

The i-platform organization recognized the importance of participation in this project, and in the upcoming period, it is expected to sign a memorandum of cooperation with the Youth Employment Project (YEP). Every next Friday, starting from 01.08.2019., new start-up companies and their business ideas will be presented with the aim of finding a mentor in the Swiss diaspora, opportunities for export and opening of the Swiss market.
