The members of the Assembly emphasize that, as citizens of BiH, they are committed to the implementation of democratic principles and respect for all human rights, on the territory of the entire state. In this regard, they wanted to prove to political representatives that it is possible to reach solutions and build trust on issues related to the functioning of the state. That is why they sent certain recommendations to the authorities for resolving discriminatory provisions in the Constitution and the Election Law of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
"For years, BiH politicians have been unable to agree on how to implement the Sejdic-Finci verdict, as well as other judgments of the European Court of Human Rights, and eliminate political discrimination against citizens, the so-called 'others', and citizens from the so-called constituent peoples living in the 'wrong' territory. The Civil Assembly resolved the matter in four days ", said the member of the Board of the i-platform, Nenad Stojanović.
