According to data of the study "The Population of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Switzerland", conducted by the University of Neuchâtel from 2012 until 2014, more than 60'000 people, who are originally from Bosnia and Herzegovina, live, work and educate themselves in Switzerland. One of the main goals of the initiative i-platform - Diaspora for the development of Bosnia and Herzegovina is to establish a network among representatives of the BiH diaspora in Switzerland and therefore to foster and support the exchange of information, knowledge and experience between them.
Furthermore, we are also continuously mapping existing projects, that were initiated and realised by the BiH diaspora, and publishing them in the section Success Stories. Our objective is to make a wider public aware of all the activities that the BiH diaspora is involved in and which contribute to the development of their country of origin. 

In order not just to present activities and projects of the BiH diaspora, but also to show who exactly stands behind the number 60'000 we started the campaign I am one of 60'000 - Here's my story!
