25 members of the three subgroups attended the meeting, including also the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Switzerland, Mr. Andjelko Grahovac.
The goals of the second meeting were:
- presentation of previous work of the expert subgroups
- defining further steps, including the organisation of the activities within the expert group till the end of 2017.
After a short welcome speech by Jasmina Opardija-Šušnjar, co-president of the association i-dijaspora, the participants introduced themselves, because since the first meeting new members had joined the group.
A short presentation by members of the subgroup followed, where they presented the objectives and results of their previous work and the assessment of funds needed for the realisation of their projects.
In the second part of the meeting reference was made to the concept of i-platform. After that, each subgroup continued with the planning of the next steps. Furthermore, the members of the subgroup were asked to make a proposal of requirements including the project goal, a list of partners, the project plan and financial framework. The proposal will be be submitted to the board of i-dijaspora for consideration.
After an intensive discussion within each sub-group focusing on the work objectives and defining the next steps, each group presented their conclusions in plenary.
The next meeting of the expert group “economic development” including all subgroups is scheduled for Saturday, 23th September 2017 in Bern.
