A group of young people from Switzerland and Bosnia and Herzegovina, as part of exchange within the "Rivjeka" project, visited the rivers of both countries - Areusa, Una, Sana, and Ugar.
Their common goal is to work to protect rivers and highlight their ecological, cultural, and political significance.
Now is the time to summarize impressions together, share experiences and reminisce about the most memorable moments of the exchange. That is why we invite you to the online presentation "Youth Exchange on Environmental Protection - Rivjeka" which will be held on November 25 starting at 7:30 PM, via the Zoom platform.
This diverse group of hard-working young people is also fighting to raise awareness of the excessive construction of hydropower plants on rivers, which is a particular threat to Bosnia and Herzegovina's rivers. Behind the project is the Youth Group ProNatura Jeunes + Nature, located in Neuchâtel, whose one goal is to create a lasting partnership with the Center for Youth Education in Travnik. Together we can work to protect rivers and take the first steps towards that goal.
