With a large number of participants in a webinar called "How companies from BiH can become more innovative with the use of kickbox methodology" lecturers Mineta Galijašević, an employee of Siemens and Nedim Efendić, co-founder of the consulting company for entrepreneurs, Scaleprocess AB, shared their experience in applying this methodology.
Intrapreneurship, dual transformation and kickbox - are the terms that Galijašević and Efendić tried to bring closer to the interlocutors, actual participants of last week's webinar.
Intrapreneurship, according to their claims, is extremely important for the survival, profitability, growth and renewal of organizations, and is defined as entrepreneurial or visionary behavior in an existing company. At the same time, intrapreneurs are people who turn ideas into reality and who are, above all, self-motivated, proactive and willing to take risks. These are also people who are action-oriented, who strive for autonomy, and people who think outside the box.
In order for this concept to be successful, strong management support is needed, resources, innovative culture, but also organizational structure are needed. However, according to Galijašević, in order for the idea to be implemented, it is very necessary to adequately reward people who do the work.
However, intrapreneurship also faces certain constraints such as systemic, structural, political, strategic, and personal.
But when it comes to dual transformation and kickbox methodology, lecturer Nedim Efendić claims that the implementation of kickbox requires, above all, a change of culture, building internal skills and that "you dream big - act small".
The kickbox program was created as a result of the contribution of +100 experts, and is designed to increase the efficiency of innovators, accelerate the speed of innovation and measurably improve the outcomes of innovation.
This open source method was developed by Adobe and has been applied by thousands of companies around the world. This method is believed to have the potential to play a significant role in strengthening intra-entrepreneurship and corporate innovation in BiH.
