The summer youth program is a joint initiative of Switzerland and Bosnia and Herzegovina, through the cooperation of the Swiss charity foundation La Terra Nostra and the i-Diaspora. The summer program will take place in Stolac, a historic town with a rich cultural heritage and beautiful nature near the Adriatic Sea.
The summer program will begin with the registration and welcome of participants on August 1, 2021 (afternoon), and will conclude with an official closing ceremony on August 7, 2021. Departure from Stolac is planned for the morning of August 7th, 2021.
The focus of the program will be on strengthening the personal growth of participants. The sessions will be held by professionals from Bosnia and Herzegovina and abroad, and will cover the following topics: modern entrepreneurship, public speaking, leadership and project management, food and mental health, design thinking, active citizenship and identity and belonging to community.
Beside the official part of the program, free time is planned, and additional activities and excursions will be organized during which participants will be able to enjoy the beauties of Herzegovina and Stolac.

The total number of participants will be 20. The participants should pay their own travel expenses to Stolac. Health insurance and visa are the responsibility of the participants themselves.
The application fee includes participation costs, meals, bed and all program activities, and in case of a clear and proven need, candidates can apply for a scholarship.
The full fee for international participants is 220 EUR, for early applications received by June 7, and for later applications 270 EUR.
The fee for local participants is 50 EUR, for early applications received by June 7, and for later applications 65 EUR. The fee for local participants refers to participants from the following countries: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Northern Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro, Slovenia, Croatia and Serbia.
We will offer scholarships for selected candidates from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Northern Macedonia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia.
