This time the topic was networking of organizations from the Diaspora and the Ministry in order to lay the foundations for future cooperation on joint projects and information regarding current activities and potential preparation, design and implementation of project ideas of organizations from the Diaspora with the Homeland.
The introductory part of the Diaspora Online Check-In meeting was held in order to better presentation and introduction of the participants. The specific beginning of the agenda was the presentation of an online tool called Digital Workplace - Digital Workspace application called MURAL, a virtual bulletin board and workspace that would serve as an information point connecting all organizations from the Bosnia and Herzegovina Diaspora and communication basis for possible future projects. A practical and clear digital tool with multiple functions will serve for better and faster networking of organizations and more transparent mutual communication and updating of individual and joint activities.
The next topic followed the previous one and related to determining additional communication channels besides email and all participants agreed that a daily communication channel like WhatsApp or some other application is needed. This would enable easier and more fluid communication, faster updating of current activities and potential future cooperations, and raise networking to a new level.
Within this topic of conversation, the issue of introduction to other organizations from the Diaspora and their active involvement in the Digital Workspace - Diaspora of BiH also appeared. It was agreed to prepare appropriate support materials for this purpose in order to facilitate the accession process - Onboarding
Networking and exchange of knowledge, project proposals, joint cooperation on projects of importance and benefit for Bosnia and Herzegovina, better and more successful communication of organizations and institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina in order to connect the Diaspora and the Homeland and other similar statements were directly or indirectly messages which could be heard in the conversation of the participants and the sharing of opinions on the current situation and the next steps.
It was agreed to continue with Diaspora Online Check-In meetings and to make an invitation for other organizations to become actively involved and familiar with these and other digital tools, necessary to work in circumstances of impossibility of physical meetings.
Finally, there was no lack of jokes and funny stories, as befits a meeting of Bosnians and Herzegovinians, and, of course, an agreement to organize a Diaspora Online Check-In meeting in September.
