The Art Forum as an initiative started in December 2019 by student of directing Bahrudin Srebrenica from Sweden and painter Mirela Kulović from Boston. At the beginning of the year 2020, the founders are joined by actor Hus Ćoralić from Tuzla, educator Srđan Čaliija from Sarajevo, sociologist Vanja Šunjić from Doboj and cultural enthusiast Nikola Burić from the i-platform.
Idea and mission
BIH ART FORUM empowers the arts as a profession in BiH. It points to the potential of art and culture to develop BiH as a destination for intellectuals and various curious people. Inspires young people to actively participate in BiH development. A place to meet and exchange ideas. The place to find associates to develop various projects and initiatives. Forum is meeting, dialogue, networking, modification, collaboration and engagement. Actual participation and practice.
Emphasis on youth and smaller cities
The focus is on the youth. High school students, students and all Bosnia and Herzegovina youth can actively participate in creating an atmosphere for their professional artistic development. By connecting artists from the diaspora, ART FORUM enables the exchange of knowledge and initiatives with a particular focus on smaller cities. Our objective is to revive the art scene. Forum allows any initiator of new ideas to find collaborators and accelerate the development of their ideas. The forum serves as a continuous platform throughout the year. The forum is a source of human resources and a place of discourse and exchange of ideas.
How to get involved and participate?
Forum creates a network of artists of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Networking of artists and/with businessmen. ART FORUM is constructing an art lobby for BiH cultural workers. It fosters cultural dynamics and begins the renaissance of the BiH cultural and artistic scene. Ways to participate in ART FORUM:

BiH ART FORUM - Plan and program
The First BiH Art Forum will be held at the beginning of July 2020 in Sarajevo for 4 hours with the following schedule:
- Introduction
- Presentation of 3 to 5 most successful cultural initiatives in BiH in the last ten years
- Presentation of the winner of the 3-minute high school film competition "Culture and my city" (“Kultura i moj grad”)
- Socializing event
