Every year IKJF organises the IKS – Inter-cultural summer weeks, where two groups of 10-14 students from Switzerland travel to BiH and in the small cities Vares and Novi Travnik organise leisure facilities for children and adolescents. They cooperate with a local group of 15-20 volunteers with the main focus on prevention of addiction and health promotion.

The students spend four weeks in Bosnia and Herzegovina and in addition to that, they have a previous lead time of three months in Switzerland for the fundraising and collecting ideas for their inter-cultural work with children and adolescents in BiH.
