We are excited to announce the "United in Diversity" training course organized by i-diaspora. This week-long project aims to bring together young people in Switzerland for an immersive experience in intercultural learning. The training will take place in Basel from April 12 to April 18, 2024.
Objectives:
- Enhance competences of youth workers in designing and implementing intercultural learning methods.
- Advocate for the recognition of youth work on individual, social, formal, and political levels.
- Emphasize the positive aspects of cultural differences as assets in youth work.
- Provide a platform for participants to feel and experience intercultural surroundings.
- Develop new workshops on intercultural learning, incorporating diverse backgrounds for future use.
Eligibility: Young people aged 18 to 30 from Switzerland are invited to apply. The working language of the training course will be English.
Benefits: Travel expenses, accommodation, and food during the training will be covered by the organizers.
