Except all interesting historical and cultural aspects of Sarajevo city and presentation of important historical parts of old city, this Bosnian sociologist will talk about historical persons who created but also tried to destroy what is considered the main tourist attraction of all tourists that visit capital city of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
According to historical facts, Baščaršija was built in the 15th century when Isa-beg Ishaković founded the entire city. Word "Baščaršija" comes from the word "baš", which in Turkish means main, so Baščaršija essentially represents the main bazaar. It is located on the northern bank of the river Miljacka, in the Municipality of Stari Grad in Sarajevo.
Professor Bajtal will talk about all of the above from his point of view, so we invite you to definitely attend this pragmatic educational event, which, we are sure, will be as interesting as the previous two.
