Zavidovići eager for change - the fourth Meetup is over
Numerous topics prevailed at this, the fourth gathering of the Zavidovići diaspora. As we announced, we talked primarily about organic production in this local community, then about potential investments of the Zavidovići diaspora, the action "Let's clean the city in one day" which was held in Zenica last summer, and which was reported by world media, and sending concrete help to the Zavidovići Health Center, in the form of the necessary beds.
Production of organic products
Proof that our project "Local meetup" really has a purpose and achieves results, are the agreements made at the last Zavidovići meetup. A modality of raspberry cultivation was offered, where, through their purchase, the invested funds would be returned to the producers, with a purchase guarantee, but also a proposal for branding Zavidovići's rare jam and raspberries, as well as a possible fair that should be part of the city's tourist offer.
Action "Let's clean our courtyards and neighborhoods in one day"
Last summer, a clean-up action was organized in Zenica, called "Let's clean the city in one day", and it was reported by numerous domestic, regional and world media teams. A huge success was achieved, and, with joint efforts, a huge amount of garbage was collected. Following the example of the above, the realization of a similar project in Zavidovići is also planned, entitled "Let's clean our courtyards and neighborhoods in one day". This action will take place soon, as part of the "month of purity" that starts tomorrow. We will, of course, inform the public about the exact date of the action.
At the end of the meetup, Mr. Edin Gudić proposed that the Zavidovići Health Center be supplied with a certain number of hospital beds, and now it is time to concretize this proposal.
This, the fourth meetup, gathered potential investors, representatives of the Municipality of Zavidovići, our diaspora, do it experts, potential experts, potential subcontractors, as well as representatives of the Mozaik Foundation for one "virtual table".
