The thematic framework of this year's event "Days of the Diaspora - Summer in Živinice" is based on the promotion of agritourism potentials, local products and crafts, natural resources and significant historical sites. The event itself will last for three days, from 30.07-01.08., and the City of Živinice, as the main organizer of this event, made an effort to provide its emigrants, as well as other visitors with all-day entertainment.

Thus, the first day is reserved for the promotion of agritourism, presentation of hand-made works of the people of Živinice and introduction to the culinary specialties of many European and world countries. Namely, in the afternoon, visitors will be able to taste the specialties of various cuisines for free, and this interesting event encouraged representatives of numerous embassies operating in Bosnia and Herzegovina to take part in this event. 

This event will be further enhanced by the performance of the members of the "Magnifico" choir, but also by the artists who will create numerous works of art that night.

The second day of the mentioned event could be considered as sports. On July 31, there will be a race called "Živinice for 10", which has been held in this BiH city for years, and this year, athletes and amateurs will be joined by cyclists from Bosnia and Herzegovina and other parts of the world. This is an opportunity for the representatives of the diaspora to ensure their participation in the race and in that way promote their own city, but also a healthier way of life. Financial resources for the race were provided by the BiH Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees.

Lovers of sevdah and folklore will especially enjoy the third and last day.

At the last "Živinice Meetup", the representative of the City Administration introduced the participants to the development of the Strategy for Communication with Emigrants. With the finalization of this document, the City of Živinice will join the small number of BiH municipalities and cities that attach special importance to communication with emigrants.

Also, the participants of this virtual meeting were introduced to the planned inter-municipal cooperation, which would, for a start, include the joint promotion of Živinice and Kladanj through tourism and the natural beauty of these areas in general.
