What exactly is it about? On December 28th, the i-platform, the City of Živinice and the Association "Most Živinice" are organizing the first online "Živinice Meet Up" where, through the Zoom platform, we gather the Živinice diaspora living in all parts of the world. Together, we are striving for one goal - the realization of future projects needed for this, very prosperous local community, to continue to shine with full splendor.

We will discuss the problems in the local community and, with the power of dialogue, try to map everything that, in your opinion, needs to be regenerated in Živinice. Proposals, ideas, suggestions, but also criticism from citizens who do not currently reside in this town, but still nurture love for it, are certainly needed and very welcome, and thanks to all the above, we will ultimately propose a joint project, which will be financially supported by funds from the city budget for 2021.

The online event "Živinice Meet Up" is realized within the event "Days of the Diaspora", which is traditionally, thanks to the efforts of employees of the City Administration, led by Mayor Samir Kamenjaković, organized in this northeastern city of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Therefore, if you are a person who comes from Živinice, and still, despite the kilometers that separate you, really love your local community, then this event is really for you.

Take some of your free time, book your participation for free via e-mails naida [at] gradzivinice.ba and tomislav.tadic [at] idijaspora.ch, publicly present your proposals and suggestions and contribute to the further development of Živinice. Help us all to enter the New Year together full of faith and hope for a better tomorrow!
