Festival of Cultures IV and/or Stadtfest Bern 2020

Are you interested in Dance, Music, Fashion or Visual Arts? Then sign yourself up for the fourth Festival of Cultures in Bern! Because the Bern city festival/Stadtfest will take place in June 2020 at the Old Town, you can also register for a performance, in or next to the Heiliggeistkirche-church.

We will demonstrate how diverse and attractive Switzerland is and compete against racism. In a competition with a wink of the eye, we will award with the audience motivating prizes in the range of 300 to 1000 CHF.

Last year the Festival of Cultures was a great success with: - About 250 artists, 42 solo artists and ensembles participated, and 9934 people visited the event ( An insight: /www.facebook.com/FestivalderKulturenBern) The festival takes place as part of the Bern Museum Night and the 10th Bern Action Week against Racism. Entries will be judged by a professional jury and the audience.

Amateurs and professionals are invited to give all kinds of presentations during 5 to 20 minutes. For the Visual Arts category we are setting up an exhibition which will be shown in the Heiliggeistkirche Bern until 14.04.2020. Each artist can exhibit two artworks (possible sale). If there are too many applications, the Organization Committee will make a selection based on cultural diversity, gender, age and professionalism.
