After the initial greeting of the participants, the opportunity to get acquainted with his character and work was given to the esteemed Mr. Darko Simičević, electrical engineer and owner of a company dealing with cyber security and IT sector. Mr. Simičević expressed his desire for professional cooperation with young people from Živinice, who, in a way, tried their hand at the IT sector, in this promising and growing industry. In this regard, it was concluded that, for a start, it is very possible to organize certain workshops or seminars for young people.
However, before we heard this proposal, Ms. Vildana Basut addressed the audience, pointing out that a proposal for a joint project of the tourist offer of the City of Živinice and neighboring municipalities surrounding Mount Konjuh and surrounding resorts, potentially interesting to domestic and foreign tourists. However, the emphasis was placed on the tourist offer that would be especially interesting to the citizens and the market of the Republic of Turkey.
The emphasis of this Meet Up was on the initiative which would convert an excellent space in BKC Živinice for the purpose of opening the first Youth Center and Hub space for young artists from various industries and young IT professionals, and potential start-up ideas, which can be realized in cooperation with the City Business Center and other entities involved in finding the best solutions for starting your own start - up business. Funding has also been proposed through a crowdfunding campaign that the i-platform can enable and set up on the We Make It platform in Switzerland.
Let us add that preparations have been launched for the project of setting up the Wall for the Olympic sports discipline, which will be located next to the Summer Stage near BKC Živinice.
As can be seen from the attached, a handful of constructive ideas are in the minds of many people from Živinice who are scattered around the world. However, this, at least emotionally, does not distance them from their city, so they are very willing to help their fellow citizens and younger generations with proposals and later with possible investments. Of course, numerous proposals, very likely, would have remained written away from Živinice if it were not for the hard work of the representatives of the i-platform and the City of Živinice. Thanks to all of us, the future of this small town in Bosnia and Herzegovina is getting brighter every month.
With your presence and ideas, make this story even more complete. See you next month!
