Zavidovići - new part of i-platform meetup family
On Tuesday, November 16, the debut of the Zavidovići meetup was held.
We are proud and happy that another BiH municipality has become part of our meetup family.
At the very beginning, the representative of the i-diaspora introduced the participants to the organization, our activities and the vision of the diaspora.
After the introductory speech and presentation of those present, the floor was given by a representative of the i-diaspora from Kladanj. She shared with those present experiences on how to map the diaspora, and on establishing a community in her municipality. After our representative, the representative of the city administration, Džeraldina Miličević, took the floor and gave the audience information on what was done regarding the Zavidovići diaspora.
Each meetup is a unique story itself and each is special. At each one, however, the emotions of our representatives of the diaspora around the world are awakened. At this meetup, we were introduced to a woman from Zavidovići who moved to Switzerland as a child, back in 1987. In addition to these human emotions, for every meetup, including this Zavidovići debut, the ideas we come up with are also characteristic.
It was agreed that the focus of future Zavidovići Meetings will be: eco-tourism, IT, small and medium enterprises, exchange of goods and goods with other countries, as well as support for education through a local foundation. Miličević pointed out that the municipality of Zavidovići stands behind this story with all its capacities, and that we have the support of the mayor himself. We used the very end of our socializing to plan the next one.
The next Zavidovići Meetup will be on the topic "Eco-tourism and Tajan as a protected area". It is reserved for the end of December, and you will be informed about all detailed information in a timely manner.
